Equipment and Technical Questions

We use Sony FX3 cinema camera for video (full frame 4K up to 120fps, the same camera used on Netflix productions) and Sony A7IV for hybrid video and photography (33 megapixels). Both are professional broadcast quality cameras.

We offer Standard/Rec.709 (normal colors ready to use), S-Log3 (flat color profile for maximum grading flexibility), or Raw video (highest quality with most editing control). We’ll explain which format works best for your editing workflow.

You can choose JPEG (already processed and ready to use) or Raw/ARW format (Sony’s raw files for maximum editing flexibility). Raw files give professional editors the most control over final image quality.

We film in 4K resolution as standard. Available frame rates include 24fps for cinematic look, 30fps for standard video, 60fps for smooth motion, and up to 120fps for slow motion effects.

Yes. S-Log3 is available and recommended if you have a professional colorist. Log profiles capture maximum dynamic range but look flat and washed out before color grading. This gives your editor the most flexibility.

Yes. We always bring backup cameras, extra batteries, and spare memory cards to every shoot. Professional reliability is standard.

File Delivery Questions

You provide an SSD drive with sufficient storage capacity. We transfer all files to your drive on the same day. For out of town clients, we offer cloud transfer within 24 hours.

You receive every clip we shoot. A 4 hour event might generate hundreds of clips. An 8 hour wedding could be thousands of clips. Nothing is deleted. You get all footage to choose from.

You get what we shoot. This includes test shots, setup clips, and occasional mistakes. That’s what unedited delivery means. The majority will be usable, but expect some unusable clips in every shoot. You decide what to keep.

Files are organized by scene, time, or shoot segment depending on project type. Everything is clearly labeled so you or your editor can locate specific footage quickly.

Yes, we maintain backups for 30 days after delivery. After 30 days, storing and backing up files becomes your responsibility.

4K video requires approximately 1GB per minute of footage. A 4 hour shoot might need 250GB. Raw video and high frame rates require more. We’ll provide storage estimates when you book.
